Tracy Felix

The landscape of the West has always been a great influence on Tracy’s painting and a constant subject.  He uses exaggeration of the geology and the colors to express the drama and excitement of the landscape that he paints. Tracy’s clouds are an instantly recognizable part of his work as well as his distinct color palette. Like his wife Sushe, he is well represented in the  Museum collections of the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art, Denver Art Museum and the Sangre de Cristo Fine Arts Center.
